Action Item is another entry into the scarce list of Stasis trace rifles in Destiny 2, and thankfully for guardians, its god roll has access to the icy element. There’s not much room to change how this weapon type behaves, but this weapon is far from being an instant dismantle.
The Stasis trace rifle showed up alongside Micromort and the Iron Banner-styled Reghusk’s Pledge in April 2026, with the long-overdue return of the special PvP mode.
A trace isn’t exactly revolutionary, given we’ve gotten three since Edge of Fate (one of them just a month before April, with Guardian Games). But Action Item’s perk pool surely makes it stand out, especially for builds that incorporate Stasis. Here are our god rolls for Action Item, based on perk data from light.gg.
Action Item PvE god rolls in Destiny 2
- Barrel: Fluted Barrel, Arrowhead Brake, or Smallbore
- Mag: Enhanced Battery, Light Battery, or Tactical Battery
- First perk: Rimestealer or Demolitionist
- Honorable mention: Rewind Rounds
- Second perk: Crystalline Corpsebloom, Headstone, Detonator Beam, or Elemental Honing
- Honorable mention: Killing Tally
Action Item god roll: Third column
The Stasis synergy gives Action Item a unique spot in the game, providing free access to shatter damage and Frost Armor with the right perks. That’s why Rimestealer is our top pick for the first perk: it’s an excellent choice for extra survivability, even if you’re not using Stasis. This perk works whenever you defeat a frozen target or break a Stasis crystal, and it’s easy to set it up with the other half of the equation. You could also use Graviton Spike with this for a different loadout.
For a more neutral game approach, go for Demolitionist. Free grenade energy helps, especially if your build could use a little help in getting that ability back. This may still get you some access to Frost Armor if your build incorporates Stasis while providing you with grenade uptime—or you can ditch Frost Armor altogether and just use Demolitionist as an engine for your build.
Rewind Rounds is another potential pick, reducing the time you spend reloading. This works particularly well with Killing Tally on the fourth column, though trace rifles don’t really take that long to reload otherwise.
Ultimately, we’d pick Rimestealer here. The Stasis synergy is arguably the most special part of Action Item, so ditching it is like stripping its main feature. That said, Action Item is one of the few Kinetic-slot trace rifles to roll Demolitionist, so getting a multi-perk roll with them can pay off.
Action Item god roll: Fourth column
Action Item has what you’d expect from any trace rifle worth its salt, but Crystalline Corpsebloom rises to the top of our god roll. It makes Stasis crystals and lets you freeze enemies, setting up Rimestealer for free stacks of Frost Armor. It’s simple and effective. Headstone also enters the fray here, since it’s not that difficult to control trace rifles’ recoil.
If you’re staying away from the icy element, you have a slew of good options for damage. The trace-exclusive Detonator Beam is an excellent pick, as expected, causing explosions with prolonged fire. You can also go for Elemental Honing if you’re using different elements, while Killing Tally works on successful kills without reloading or stowing your weapon. It gets more benefit from Rewind Rounds, too.
Much like in the third column, however, we’d lean into the Stasis synergy here with a roll using either Crystalline Corpsebloom or Headstone. A tier-five version of Action Item can get three choices on columns three and four, so the odds of getting at least one of them are pretty favorable.
How to get Action Item in Destiny 2
Though Action Item is available as a reward in the event track during the first Iron Banner in Renegades, odds are we’ll see it again in a future edition of Call to Arms. Like Micromort, it has the Nail, Meet Hammer origin trait, shared with Arms Week weapons, so it’s likely to show up in the future. Until then, get it as Iron Banner Engrams, from the event store, or from the event track.

The People of Tortuga is one of several factions in Windrose, and finding the buyer can be a headscratcher. You might think that you’ll find them in Tortuga. That’s where the problem is: they’re at a different location.
This guide will help you find the People of Tortuga faction so that you can find the buyer and interact with him.
How to find the Tortuga faction in Windrose
Since the map of Windrose is procedurally generated, sharing the location of the People of Tortuga faction might not workout for you. Instead, here’s how you can find the faction quite easily.
- Keep grinding the missions until you receive the Buccaneers quest.
- This is a faction quest that you can undertake at character level 3.
- The first task of the quest is to get 50 bags of gunpowder for the Buccaneers and deliver them to Henri Boucher.
- The second task is to deliver the shipment of tanned hides to Charlie Sharpe.
- Charlie Sharpe, incidentally, belongs to the People of Tortuga faction.
- If you open the map now, the quest location will highlight where Chalie Sharpe is located. This is the same place where the People of Tortuga Faction can be found.
Complete the second task of Buccaneers, and you’ll have found the location of the People of Tortuga Faction. This is the most consistent method of finding the faction. Typically, you’ll find them at a hideout slightly distant from Tortuga.
Once you find the hideout, you’ll also find the trader waiting for you at the same location. You can then proceed with your transactions. If you want to focus back on the Buccaneers’ quest, there will be one more task for you to complete.
