On the surface, this is a pretty simple task that allows you to get bonus items to aid your progress. However, there’s not much information to go with from the task description itself. Let’s look at how you gift any of your operators on the Dijiang in Arknights Endfield.

How to gift your operator in Arknights Endfield

If you’re specifically here to complete the task on the fourth Node, you can gift any operator of your choosing. The exact position of the operator will be random. Choose the operator you want to gift, and interact with them.

You’ll see a trust meter, which should likely be zero if you’ve never gifted them in the past. The trust meter gradually rises the more gifts you give. You can find the list of gifts that a specific operator will want to receive.

To give them the gift, you’ll first need to purchase it.

How to purchase gifts for your operator in Arknights Endfield

To purchase gifts, you’ll need to go to the Stock Redistribution terminal. You’ll it in the room that’s just by the Reception Room on Dijiang. Open the terminal, and there will be plenty of gifts to purchase in the Cultural Goods section.

When purchasing a gift, remember the intended recipient. There’s also a point of budget since gifts have different purchase prices. Once done, return to your operator and give them the gift. You’ll notice that the trust will slowly increase. Don’t expect it to immediately rise to 100% since you’ll need plenty of gifts to hit that point.

However, the weapon will remain locked at first, and doesn’t appear as random loot until you complete a specific achievement. This guide will make it easy for you to obtain the gun for the first time in LORT, which will then add it to the pool of possible spawns.

How to unlock the gun in LORT

Almost every weapon in LORT is locked when you start playing for the first time. To unlock the weapon, you’ll need to complete a specific task. For the gun, you’ll need to discover it on the map. This isn’t an easy task since LORT doesn’t have a traditional map (at least not to my knowledge).

The gun always appears on top of the grave shown in the image above. This will be true until you have found it for the first time. When you find it, you can add it to your adventurer. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing a melee or a ranged adventurer. Of course, using it with a ranged character is going to have certain advantages.

How to get the gun in LORT

Once you’ve unlocked the gun, it will appear randomly on your run. It could be obtained from a chest that you unlock with gold. The item can also drop from certain enemies randomly. Weapon items typically drop from harder enemies, so try to slay some of the more challenging foes. Ultimately, it’s all down to luck whether you get it once you have unlocked it.
