Hope needs your help tackling some key tasks around the island, but she also wants you to prove that you’re capable on your own in her Fortnite quest series. To do so, she asks you to collect food items to demonstrate your survival skills.
Food isn’t a feature you likely interact with all that much while venturing around the island, as it’s not all that useful or important. This means you may have a tricky time tracking some down for this mission, so here’s how to collect food items to demonstrate your survival skills in Fortnite.

Where to find food items in Fortnite
You can find food items inside Produce Boxes, which can be looted like all chests but only contain a couple of foods for you to grab. They spawn randomly around the whole island, so you have a chance of finding one just about anywhere. Some spots contain more Produce Boxes than others, though, so here are the overall best spots to look.
- Five Produce Boxes inside the many buildings you can explore around Ripped Tides.
- Four Produce Boxes around Wonkeeland.
- At a gas station and around the woods south of Sandy Strip.
- Seven Produce Boxes around the shops, houses, and dock at Bumpy Bay.
- Eight Produce Boxes can be found at Latte Landing and around the surrounding area.
- Four Produce Boxes are located on a ship near the northern edge of the island.
- Five Produce Boxes can be found at Battlewood Boulevard.
- Four Produce Boxes are scattered throughout Painted Palms.
Overall, the best spots to go hunting for boxes you can open for food items are Latte Landing, Bumpy Bay, Ripped Tides, and Battlewood Boulevard. They are most abundant and easy to find at these four spots, so when working on this quest, choosing one of them to visit is the best way to go.
Produce Boxes are rectangular brown cardboard boxes with a green lid. They also all have a few veggie decals on them, making it fairly easy to spot. They can spawn anywhere around any building, but tend to be a bit more common near areas like restaurants, kitchens, and food shops.
Collect food items to demonstrate your survival skills in Fortnite
To finish the collect food items to demonstrate your survival skills quest, you need to find and pick up a total of three foods. For the purposes of this mission, all you need to do is pick up three foods, not consume them, so once you find some, it’s fairly easy to get this quest done.
A singular Produce Box usually has around four food items in it, as they typically grant you two different stacks of two items. This means you should be able to get it done in one go, but if, for some reason you find less, you’ll have to open a second box. Luckily, anywhere you find one box is likely to have another nearby, so it’s not too difficult to get done.
There are lots of other tricky tasks to tackle around the island. Next, you might try working on checking in with The Order or The Visitor about the base, scouting a potential location for an Elites safehouse, using Treasure Cannons to collect items for the base, and completing Job Boards.

Slay the Spire 2 isn’t your typical deckbuilder, where you don’t have to take care of your health.
While there are five different characters to pick from, none of them is immortal. They will all take damage, and they will perish if you’re not careful. Taking damage is inevitable; no matter what you do, you’ll always end up receiving damage.
What matters is whether you’re healing your character at the correct moments.
How to heal in Slay the Spire 2
Healing is a premium activity in Slay the Spire 2. You can’t heal whenever you want, and restoring HP comes at a price. You’ll occasionally come across Rest Spots that appear as a campfire on your path. These spots can be found only sporadically, so you’ll need to plan carefully. Their locations on every run is compeltely random.
When you’re at the spot, you’ll have two different options: Rest or Smith. If you choose the latter, you can improve a card by applying different upgrades. If you choose the former, you’ll be able to recover a percentage of your character’s lost health.
You can also find different Relics and consumables on your run, and some of them might allow you to restore HP. Potions are one-time use, and you can have a maximum of three at a time. This method isn’t a guaranteed solution since all runs are random. It could happen that you might be unable to find an applicable Relic or consumable.
Slay the Spire 2 has five characters, and one of them has a healing ability. The Ironclad’s default relic, the Burning Blood, allows you to recover 6 HP at the end of combat. This is an extremely useful relic to have, which ranks him well on our characters’ tier list.
Outside of these methods, there’s no other way to recover HP and restore the health of your character in Slay the Spire 2. The same methods also apply if you’re playing co-op with your friends.
