I’m spending a lot of time waiting for some big 2026 games lately, and that means I’m browsing social media and checking out discussions just like the rest of you.
The wait for Marvel’s Wolverine has been a long one already, but with its release window targeting this fall, we’ve still got a long way to go. And as such, gamers are looking for any smidgen of a clue as to when we might learn more about the violent mutant’s adventures.
Yesterday, however, Insomniac Games spurred on a conversation itself. I’m not sure whether it was intentional or not, either. But, it involves a social media post and one very key word in it.
“‘Claws’? What’s that, some kind of fancy lawyer lingo?” the studio teased along with an innocuous gif of Logan looking menacing. And when it comes to the word “lawyer” in Marvel, it will always bring people to think about the Man Without Fear, Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil (and She-Hulk, too).
Naturally, eager Marvel fans are taking this random Thursday post as some sort of teaser that Daredevil will appear in the game. And it’s certainly possible, because Wolverine takes place in the same Insomniac universe as its Spider-Man games, and you can find Matt Murdock’s law office within Manhattan if you choose to seek it out.
But do I buy this theory just yet? No. It is a pretty random caption on a very random social media post, and maybe it was posted to drum up discussion and get people excited. If Daredevil is to be in the game, though, why would they spoil it in something like this? But also, in what world is “claws” lawyer lingo?
I think it’s entirely possible that the next PlayStation State of Play (rumored to take place next week) could feature Marvel’s Wolverine. Having Murdock cameo in the trailer, along with some other surprise faces, could drive up the hype even more. I suppose we could know more soon enough, but I think this may be a case of people being excited for anything to look forward to out of the next PS5 Marvel adventure.
The most recent trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine featured some familiar faces for X-Men fans, like Mystique and Omega Red, along with Sentinels. Could Daredevil be joining them out of Hell’s Kitchen somehow? If he does, I don’t even want to know about it until I can play the game later this year.
Either way, I’m excited to see what Insomniac has cooked up in the near future.

The Naval Update in Rust has introduced the Deep Sea location for players to explore, and there are plenty of things to find.
The Naval update is the first major patch of the new year. It centers around how water voyages have worked in the past, while it also brings up the Deep Sea. The new region is filled with danger, but rewards await those who’re bold enough.
Table of contents
How to reach the Deep Sea in Rust
The first task is a Boat Building Station and the necessary resources for building it. As an alternative, you can use the RHIBs or PT Boats to venture into this new region. However, having your own boat is better. Incidentally, you can’t find the Deep Sea, which is strange but understandable.
Once you’ve built your boat, load plenty of resources and supplies. Then, you can begin your journey to locate the new region. You can do so either on your own or with your buddies.
Rust Deep Sea location explored
The Deep Sea is a dangerous area to be in, and expect to find enemies in plenty. Here are a few things that the region offers.
Floating Cities
You’ll find Floating Cities in the Deep Sea location, which allows players to rest, recharge their supplies, and find essential things for their adventures. Floating Cities also have a farming barge that allows you to grow and harvest fresh fish.
You can also try your luck in the Deep Deck Casino in these cities. These places will allow you to interact with other players without bullets flying by your head.
Islands
You’ll find several small islands in the Deep Sea Location that offer you various loot. However, these lands are filled with Scientists who will prevent you from looting the place. The exact degree of resistance and resources that you find will vary across different islands, and they’re random.
Ghost Ship
You’ll occasionally come across dilapidated ships stranded in the middle of the ocean. These are Ghost Ships, and they’re filled with loot. However, they’re protected by scientists, and you’ll need to take them down to grab all the resources. Some Ghost Ships might also contain locked crates that you can hack for valuables.
Boats
The Scientists patrol the ocean waters in their own custom boats that come in two variants: PT and RHIBs. You’ll frequently find them around Ghost Ships, but their locations can be random. PT Boats have two turrets, and they can be extremely dangerous for players. RHIBs might not be armed, but you’ll find Scientists and equipment on them. Approaching them should be strategic, as the Scientists can and will fire at you.
