Destiny 2‘s Peculiar Charm continues the trend of adapting weapons from different types. This time, it’s a burst-fire SMG, and its god roll favors both PvE and PvP.
The new weapon from Competitive is available by playing ranked matches in the Crucible, but anyone could grab it without ever setting foot in the Crucible, thanks to two exceptions. The Lawless Vouchers from the end of The Edge of Fate dropped gear from Renegades, and Peculiar Charm also appeared as one of Commander Zavala’s weekly offerings during the Star Wars expansion.
Here are our Peculiar Charm god rolls for both PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.
Peculiar Charm PvE god rolls in Destiny 2
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake, Smallbore, Polygonal Rifling, or Corkscrew Rifling
- Mag: Flared Magwell, Tactical Mag, or Appendedd Mag
- First perk: Attrition Orbs or Rapid Hit
- Second perk: Kinetic Tremors, Bewildering Burst, Master of Arms, or Firefly
Peculiar Charm has a ton of PvE-favored perks despite hailing from the Crucible. Attrition Orbs is the flagship attraction here, creating orbs to fuel your builds, Armor Charge mods, and even the Smoke Jumper set effect. If you can’t find it, Rapid Hit is a good option for improved reload speed or stability, but we’re sticking to Attrition Orbs here.
Shoot to Loot appears as a quality-of-life option if your build already has enough orbs (if such a thing even exists), or if you’d like to grab ammo without moving, though that’s more common in advanced scenarios like contest raids.
Outside of that, Impromptu Ammunition bumps up your ammo generation stat a bit, and Stopping Power helps take down foes that are already on the fritz. We don’t recommend these since they’re not as effective as the rest of the options here, outside of maybe Impromptu Ammunition to synergize with All-Star. The two remaining perks on this column—Rangefinder and Lone Wolf—are PvP-oriented.
The fourth column puts the charm in Peculiar Charm’s perk pool. It’s stacked with excellent options, including some that would warrant being in the god rolls for different weapons.
Kinetic Orbs is the gold standard for Kinetic weapons, but its ballistic sibling, Bewildering Burst, feels almost too good to pass up. Use one to chunk sturdier enemies or go with the latter to disorient enemies in an area-of-effect when survivability matters more than damage. Keep in mind that Bewildering Burst does require a kill before it activates, though.
Master of Arms remains a good option to buff your damage directly, and all it takes is getting a kill with any weapon. The buffed All-Star provides a chunky damage buff when picking up ammo bricks, so its uptime will depend on how often you create them. There’s also Firefly for crowd control and Desperado, which only rolls on burst weapons. We’re partial to the ones on our god roll, but there are no wrong answers here.
Peculiar Charm PvP god rolls in Destiny 2
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake, Hammer-Forged Rifling, Smallbore, or Polygonal Rifling
- Mag: Accurized Rounds or Flared Magwell
- First perk: Rangefinder or Lone Wolf
- Second perk: Headseeker, Master of Arms, or Desperado
The PvP god roll hinges more on personal preference than the PvE one. We opted for parts that maximize range and/or stability to make this weapon perform better in its niche, with Arrowhead potentially reining in the recoil. We also went with Rangefinder to squeeze every bit of juice out of it, though Lone Wolf‘s bonus to aim assist is particularly good as well.
The last perk depends on how confident you are in getting kills. Headseeker makes misses more forgiving and works across the board, while Master of Arms and Desperado let you chain them more easily, provided you take down an enemy before.
Which Peculiar Charm should I choose from Zavala?
Zavala is selling a Peculiar Charm in the week of Jan. 27, 2026, with up to five options up for grabs depending on how much you played the previous week. If you can pick any of them, we recommend picking the one that rolls with Attrition Orbs paired with Kinetic Tremors, Bewildering Burst, and All-Star. If you don’t want Kinetic Tremors, however, the combination of Attrition Orbs and Master of Arms is a classic.

Expired Respirator might not be a new item in ARC Raiders, but the demand for it has gone up after the Headwinds update went live.
The Trophy Display project, added as part of the Headwinds update, requires you to find and submit Expired Respirators. Doing so will earn you different rewards that might be immensely beneficial for your in-game grind.
While there’s an element of randomness associated with how you can find, this guide will help raise the odds of your success.

Best Expired Respirator locations in ARC Raiders
There’s no fixed area where you’re guaranteed to find Expired Respirators. However, it’s a medical equipment that can typically be found in commercial areas. I usually used to find this item in different spots of the Buried City. The Hospital is a POI that seems to have the highest chances of success.
Another great spot is the Testing Annex location on Dam Battlegrounds. The spot, located in the southern part of the map, can also help you with a few Expired Respirators. That said, it ultimately depends on your luck.
If you’re on the Spaceport or the Blue Gate map, I will concentrate on hitting the Commercial and Residential areas. You’ll want to go carefully through all the containers and other breachable spots that you might find.
How to use Expired Respirators in ARC Raiders
As of writing, the most important use of the Expired Respirators is to complete the second stage of the Trophy Display project. You’ll need to submit three of these items once you’ve unlocked Stage 2. Doing so will get you three Photoelectric Cloak, and bring you one step closer to unlocking the final rewards.
Once done, you can recycle Expired Respirators to get four Fabric and eight Rubber Parts. Both items are staples for several crafting recipes, and you should stack them as much as possible.
