FC 26 Season 5 release countdown: Exact date, time, and Season Pass rewards

Season 5 is coming soon to FC 26 Ultimate Team, ushering in a new set of rewards to grind for.

We have a little more than a week left to complete the Season 4 grind. The season pass has included some fantastic cards, evolutions, and packs. Season 5 should follow along the same pattern, but let’s first look at what to expect and when things will be available in Ultimate Team.

FC 26 Season 5 release countdown

Season 5 goes live exactly when the ongoing Season 4 ends. The new season will be released on Thursday, Jan. 29. The following countdown will expire once the new season is live.

The countdown is based on the following times.

• 12am PT
• 2am CT
• 3am ET
• 8am UTC
• 9am CET

This is the usual pattern that EA Sports follows when it comes to new season launches. Once the countdown above expires, you’ll find a new season pass in Ultimate Team.

FC 26 Season 5 Pass rewards

With almost ten days left before the new season, we have yet to get many glimpses into what to expect. However, Marc Casado has been leaked as a Future Stars card, and his item is supposed to be on the season pass.

That said, we don’t know if he will be on the paid or the free version of the pass. The paid version will be available for either 500,000 coins or 1,000 FC Points, allowing users to grind for more rewards, tradeable packs, and more.

Season 4 had plenty of amazing evolutions available on the pass. I am hopeful to see something similar in the next season.

The first week of the Team of the Year promo is about to be over, and the TOTY Honourable Mentions items will be available soon in FC 26 Ultimate Team.

The Honourable Mentions items will be special cards of footballers who missed out on the TOTY starters. However, EA Sports will be releasing special cards for these players via packs. Let’s look at all the leaks that have appeared so far on social media, followed by when the cards will be available in packs.

All FC 26 TOTY Honourable Mentions players

So far, a few Honourable Mentions players are already available in Ultimate Team. These cards were released as part of SBCs and objectives. However, the whole HM team will be added to packs, and here are the cards that have leaked on social media.

• David Raya
• Denzel Dumfries
• Pacho
• Marquinhos
• Luis Diaz

More names are expected to be leaked once we get close to the launch date. Unlike the starter team, Honourable Mentions will all be added at the same time to packs. There could also be more cards appearing as SBCs and objectives in the days to follow.

FC 26 TOTY Honourable Mentions release countdown

The Honourable Mentions will be in packs along with the full starting lineups. The following countdown will expire once the cards are in packs. All Honourable Mentions from packs will be available for a week starting Friday, Jan. 23.
