Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2 Operation System Override release date, Ranked 3.0, and more

Dokkaebi in Six Siege

Key details related to Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2 have been revealed to the fans, and we have a lot of exciting additions coming up during Operation System Override. At its core lies Ranked 3.0 for those who love to test the hardcore stuff.

That said, there will be plenty more things to look out for.

Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2 Operation System Override release date

The exact date for Y11S2 Operation System Override is yet to be revealed. We know from the official sources that the second season will appear in June. Based on past trends and history, it should be released sometime around June 2. That said, we are still awaiting a confirmation.

The official date will be duly updated on the guide once Ubisoft reveals it.

All new things in Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2

While we won’t have a new operator, Dokkaebi will receive a major rework. Her primary gadget will undergo massive tweaks, and she will send a Jegeo payload to an operator’s phone.

While the defenders will be able to shut it down quicker due to the length of the call, it can now explode. If a defender fails to dismiss the call, they will take 40 damage, and the phone will leave a trail of fire that will deal enemies damage over time (if they’re caught by it).

We will also get a new map in the second season. Calypso Casino, rooted in Rainbow Six Vegas, will make its debut in Siege. It will be available in all casual and competitive modes. The basement will have all the security and server-related things. You’ll find a lot of casino games on the first floor.

Calypso Casino will challenge attackers and defenders alike due to its structure, with different possible breaching points. It will be interesting to find out how the community adapts to the new playground.

Once the new season is live, we will all get temporary access to three attackers and defenders. The pool of free operators will rotate weekly, but this will be an excellent chance for all to try out new names before they choose to unlock them permanently.

The following maps will undergo changes following the update.

  • Emerald Plains
  • Kanal
  • Outback

There will be a host of changes being made to several operators. We will have a full understanding of the impact once the season is live.

Rainbow Six Siege Y11S2 Ranked 3.0

Ranked 3.0 will replace the ongoing Ranked 2.0 experience, with a complete overhaul of the existing system. No longer will we have the incredibly confusing hidden MMR that’s currently being used for matchmaking.

Instead, you’ll have to go through five placement matches to get your rank. You’ll gain rank points based on how well you perform. Additionally, if you lose and you’re about to be demoted, a Demotion Shield will save your day.

The mode will also have the following restrictions and bans in place.

  • Copper to Emerald players can queue with teammates within three full ranks.
  • Diamond and Champion players can queue with teammates within two full ranks.

Three maps from the Pro Pool and two maps from the Seasonal Pool will be part of the ban phases. Things look quite positive with the changes Ranked 3.0 has, but we will never know until we get to play.

Broken turbine in Subnautica 2

The Bioscanner is a pretty important tool in Subnautica 2, and we will need to unlock it to reach the end of the campaign in the early access. Moreover, we can also use it to scan alien lifeforms, which gives us more perks like extra Biomods.

Like most things inside the game, we will have to find the blueprint for this item before we get to use it.

Bioscanner blueprint location in Subnautica 2

To unlock the Bioscanner, we need to scan just one blueprint. However, we will have to travel all the way to the fourth Angel Comb in the Alien Ruins. From there, keep moving upwards until you come across a crashed Alterra starship wreck.

You can refer to the image above to find the entrance. You’ll need the Repair Tool to proceed since one of the key doorways will be inaccessible at first. Repair the door, and head to the next room. Take the door on your left in this room, and go to the next one.

You’ll find an Iso in this room resting on a dining table and an upgrade for your Tadpole submarine. Look carefully at the corner, and you’ll find a hole that goes through a chamber. Follow the chamber until you reach the end, and you’ll come across the Bioscanner. Use your Scanner to unlock the blueprint.

How to craft the Bioscanner in Subnautica 2

The Bioscanner is an upgrade over your Scanner, and you’ll need the Modification Station. You’ll also need the required resources to craft the Bioscanner. This item scans quicker, and it also allows you to check out certain lifeforms that aren’t detected by the ordinary scanner.

Moreover, you’ll also need the Bioscanner to scan the broken turbine before you can activate it to reach the end of the game (as of writing).
