Best builds to use in Far Far West

marauder Camp

Far Far West lets you use different builds to clear the content and level up your bounty hunter. When you’re playing at higher difficulties, you’ll want to be efficient with your resources and how you use them.

This guide contains the best build available in the current build of the game, along with something you can also use as a beginner.

Best build to use in Far Far West

The solo build requires you to unlock the Leveredge, which is an incredibly powerful rifle. Here’s how we set it up effectively.

  • Damage is the first stat you’ll want to max out, so that you can clear out enemies at light speed.
  • Add an ample number of points (about 3-4) to Fire Rate, as the Leveredge will initially feel slow.
  • Max out your Draw Speed instead of investing in Reload Speed. We can then take advantage of the Stacked Lever Joker that immediately reloads two bullets. Hence, Reload Speed becomes completely redundant.

Here’s a list of two other Jokers that should be used with this build (aside from Stacked Lever).

  • Ricochet: 30% chance that a fired shot will automatically hit a nearby enemy.
  • Relentless: You get +30% damage when you’re under 30% HP — stay tuned to find out why this is such an important Joker.

Character

You’ll want the following stats maxed as a priority.

  • Health: This is a must for any usable build and all weapons.
  • Spell Cooldown: Essential for this specific build.
  • Speed: Being mobile is key to survival.

Here are my three top choices for Jokers with this build.

  • Second Wind: When you die on a run, Second Wind gives you a safety blanket. It recovers your HP partially when you receive a fatal blow, giving you a… second wind.
  • Glass Cannon: You’ll want to play the Leveredge as a Sniper. You drop your HP to 98 from 130, but gain 40% more weapon damage. Your gun will hit harder and stronger with this sacrifice.
  • Soul Siphon: Ideally, you want both equipped, since you’ll regain 4 HP per soul. It’s always useful to have this extra healing option.

Spells

Here’s a list of my preferred spells with this build.

  • Thunder Strike: Amazing spell that allows you to clear large enemies of enemies with a single strike.
  • Fireball: This is a perfect combo to trigger with Thunder Strike as it creates a fire tornado. The tornado moves and damages every enemy caught in it.
  • Bubble: Since both electric and Fire spells combine with Bubble, it’s a good third choice.

This is also why you want to invest points in Spell Cooldown. You can cycle through your spells faster and clear enemies quicker. Concentrate on the first two spells mentioned above, but don’t forget to use Bubble whenever it’s ready.

Secondary

For the secondary slot, just go with the trusted Revolver. Get the damage, draw speed, and lifesteal up, which are all necessary for a good backup. Both Headbang and Ricochet are strong choices to pair with this gun. Finally, I went with Fire as the element, but you can also swap it for Electricity.

When it comes to Utilities, I am yet to get a firm favorite. At Nightmare difficulty, Bottle Crate is a great choice as you can heal on the move. At lower difficulties, however, you can opt for explosive options. I will leave this up to your preferred playstyle.

Best beginner build in Far Far West

While the build above is excellent, it will take some time to get all the upgrades. This build, in contrast, is a great choice for beginners. It doesn’t require you to invest too much Gold, and the only unlock is the Shotgun.

For the Shotgun, you want to increase the Damage, Fire Rate, and Reload Speed. At first, concentrate on upgrading Fire Rate and Reload Speed.

For Jokers, Ricochet is a great choice for the 30% chance to hit an enemy automatically. Relentless is also a good choice, as you do extra damage when your health is low.

Since this is for beginners, I have only considered spells available at Level 1. Go for Strikes (Electric) and Drain (Voodoo). These spells combine and create a thunderstorm that does random damage to enemies. It’s a great combination in the early stages before you unlock the more advanced spells.

I will avoid investing much in any secondaries with this build. Stick to the Revolver so that you can build into the loadout with the Leveredge. For utilities, use whatever suits your fancy, as this build is for easier difficulties.

GTA 6 Lucia in the pool

Grand Theft Auto 6’s development is trudging along to release later this year, but the hotly anticipated sequel won’t be coming to PC…at least not right away.

PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be home to GTA 6 at launch, but PC gamers are being left in the lurch, as has been the case for most previous titles that Rockstar Games has launched. And that’s by design, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.

“Rockstar always starts on console because I think with regard to a release like that you’re judged by serving the core,” Zelnick said in a new interview with Bloomberg. “Like really serving the core consumer. If your core consumer isn’t there, if they’re not served first and best, you kind of don’t hit your other consumers.”

So, PC gamers aren’t a “core” consumer in the eyes of Rockstar, apparently. But you can bet that, within a few years, GTA 6 will eventually come to PC with upgraded visuals and other buzzwords so that the game can continue to sell.

GTA 5 was released and re-released several times over, on multiple different console generations, along with a Definitive Edition that also came to PC. It’s hard not to see this for what it is: a chance to make more money with subsequent different launches, and that’s just the way it goes.

The expectations for GTA 6 are unfathomable, with Zelnick previously calling the game “the most spectacular piece of entertainment on Earth, in history.” And according to a QA analyst at Rockstar’s studio in India, it’s leading to crunch conditions to make sure the game’s development crosses the finish line.

“We never claim success before it occurs,” Zelnick said. “We have the most amazing creative teams. We not only encourage them to pursue their passions, we insist that they do it. We try to give them unlimited financial, creative human resources and then they aim to deliver perfection.”

With Nov. 19 just about six months away and a massive marketing campaign looming over the summer, Zelnick said that “our goal is to deliver to consumers something that’s never been experienced before,” when it comes to GTA 6, remarking that “being on the sidelines but pretty close to the front of the sidelines is very, very exciting and terrifying, because the expectations are so high.”
