Star Path events often task you with seeking out specific villagers around the valley to fulfill the requirements of various tasks in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The characters you need to find and interact with are oftentimes hidden behind vague clues, though, as is the case with the chat with Mickey Mouse and friends mission.
One character you can use for this task is named, but the rest are hidden, and it can be tricky to figure out which ones work since the valley is packed with lots of unique villagers. Only a select group works for this one, so here’s how to chat with Mickey Mouse and friends in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Mickey Mouse and friends in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are six characters who fall under the Mickey and Friends category in DDV. You can find the complete list by navigating to the Collection tab, selecting the Characters section, and scrolling down to find the Mickey & Friends category. All villagers who count are as follows.
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Daisy
- Donald Duck
- Goofy
- Scrooge McDuck
If you have the A Rift in Time DLC, you may also be tempted to call upon Oswald for this task, as he tends to be included among this group. For the purposes of DDV and this specific mission, though, he doesn’t count, as he’s instead listed under the Oswald category. This means you must choose one of the six villagers listed above to get through this mission.
Chat with Mickey Mouse and friends in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To finish the chat with Mickey Mouse and friends duty for the Elements of Nature Star Path event, you need to have three daily discussions with villagers who fall under the official Mickey & Friends category. You can only have one talk with each villager per day, so you’ll need to talk to three different characters in this category to get it done in just one day. Alternatively, you can also take this one slow and chat with the same character across the span of three different days if you’d prefer to do it that way.
Generally, the easiest characters to chat with for this mission are Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Scrooge McDuck. You unlock them right at the start of DDV, so all players have access to them regardless of how far you are through key quests. If you don’t have some of these villagers to level 10, though, it’s a good idea to choose those ones instead, as talking to them grants a nice friendship boost.
Successfully checking off this mission gets you 10 Tokens to spend in the event. It’s not much at all, but the task is fairly easy once you know which villagers you can talk to for it, so it’s certainly still worth doing. If you’re seeking more Tokens, though, you may want to tackle some additional event missions, like cooking with Pumpkin or Corn, planting 20 enriching orange squash, crafting a potion you can really “dig,” and cooking a fairly fancy dinner.

What to expect from Saros
Saros is a PS5 exclusive that puts you in the shoes of Arjun Devraj. As a Soltari enforcer, you’re tasked with investigating Carcosa. At its heart, the game is a rogue-lite experience, where failure will happen. However, you will still gain something from one run that you can carry to the next one.
Every run will feature dangerous enemies and bosses to take down. To help your cause, you’ll be able to customize your loadout and improve your weapons across your runs. You’ll also gain different resources that will help you to do that. Finally, you can always make use of your Second Chance mechanic (needs to be unlocked), which works as a reset switch if something goes terribly wrong.
While things look and sound pretty exciting, Saros will only be available to PS5 players for the time being. There’s always a chance for it to arrive later on PC, but that seems quite unlikely as of writing.
