As the numberless Overwatch enters its second season, the game will finally launch fully on the Switch 2, carrying tons of improvements for Nintendo gamers over its Switch 1 version. The latest version of the king of gaming on the go will finally get to experience Overwatch‘s rebranded, fresh looks with better visuals launching together with Season 2: Summit.
While Overwatch has been available on the original Switch for some time now, it’s finally going to be upgraded to make use of all the advancements of the Switch 2, which will allow the game to run more smoothly while maintaining better visuals and a “crisper” experience that won’t have to sacrifice as much as before.
The most notable improvement is undoubtedly the FPS boost, as both docked and handheld modes will now be able to maintain 60 fps in the game, allowing Nintendo players to have a competitive edge when facing gamers on stronger platforms, chiefly those on PC who are no strangers to 300+ fps in the game.
“It’s a cleaner, crisper, portable version of Overwatch that still lets you play with your friends wherever you are,” Blizzard said, adding that this new version is “a much stronger way to experience the game on your Nintendo Switch 2.”
Competitive games are always a bit tricky to port to more casual platforms like the Switch, as players over there generally receive subpar performance compared to others, and I hope this high-fps upgrade will help Nintendo players keep up with the rest of the crowd. Of course, crossplay can also be turned off on consoles (PC players are forced to fight everyone at all times), but I hope the move to a stronger device will ensure that that won’t be necessary.
Either way, Overwatch is launching the second season of Reign of the Talon, bringing along a ton of new and exciting stuff, chiefly a new hero, Sierra, who I believe will undoubtedly cause a major disturbance in the meta with her fast and lethal abilities.

What to expect from INDUSTRIA 2
INDUSTRIA 2 is a direct sequel to the first game, where you play in the boots of Nora. Unfortunately, she has been pulled back into the mess created by ATLAS just before she can escape the dimension and head back home.
As a player, you need to interact with the environment and craft different items to help your journey. You’ll meet memorable characters on your journey as you progress through the main story. While there are dangerous enemies out there to hunt you down, you can find and upgrade five different weapons with attachments.
INDUSTRIA 2 is a slow-paced, narrative-rich adventure that you can play at your own pace. If you’re still unsure, you can always check out the demo that’s available on Steam.
