All new Exotic weapon and gear talents in The Division 2 Y8S1 Rise Up

Year 8 Season 1, aka Rise Up, is now live in The Division 2, and it brings a new batch of exotic weapons and gear for you to grind. All new Exotics have their own share of talents that make them unique to use.

This guide will provide you with a list of all the new Exotics. While some of them are immediately available, a few will be made available later throughout the season.

All Exotic weapons in The Division 2 Y8S1

There are two new Exotics that you can grind in the new season. The table below has information about both of them, along with their talents.

Agitator (AR)	Preturb: When holstered, it generates 50% less Threat when shooting. Keep it holstered for 10s to prime it. When primed, you get +25% bonus rate of fire and +30% weapon damage. You also generate 100% more Threat when shooting for 20s	Optics: +10% Critical Chance Muzzle: +50% Swap Speed Magazine: +20 Rounds	Available from the season pass track.
Whiplash (Pistol)	Faster Than Reloading: Having the weapon holstered for 5s primes it. When primed, swapping to this weapon reloads your Primary and Secondary weapons. It also grants +20% rate of fire and +50% weapon damage until the magazine is emptied.	Weapon Mods: Optics: +10% Critical Damage Underbarrel: +50% Swap Speed Magazine: + 10% Critical Chance	This weapon will be available from the Climax mission. However, it’s not a guaranteed drop, and you’ll need to play at higher difficulties to raise the chances in your favor.

The new season has a brand new Exotic mask that you can collect to add to your collection.

The item doesn’t have a Gear Mode Slot. Instead, it features a third random attribute, and they can belong to any Core.	N/A	Available from the season pass track.

There’s a unique way to become Jesus (not in the literal sense) in Crimson Desert with the help of Vaporwalker boots, as it allows you to walk over water. You can use these boots to tread across shallow water bodies, and they can also allow you to glide over deeper sections.

Vaporwalker boots in Crimson Desert

The Vaporwalker boots can be found inside a chest that’s hidden in the Ancient Heart cave. You’ll need to unlock the Pailune region. Then, you’ll need to reach the Ancient Rift. Approach the cliff from the top and then drop down. Use your flight ability to glide towards a nearby waterfall (location marked on the image above).

Drop on either bank near the midpoint of the waterfall since that’s the entry point. Once you land on the entrance, you’ll need to get through the waterfall. We have a detailed guide on how you can enter a waterfall. In simple words, use a stab attack to go through.

How to get and use the Vaporwalker boots in Crimson Desert

Once you’re past the waterfalls, head inside the cave. You’ll soon come across a breakable wall that can be destroyed with your Force Palm ability. Once you’re through, you’ll find the chest that contains the boots.

Here are the stats of the boots.

• Defense: 5
• Refinement: N/A
• Unique Skill: Skipping Stones

Once you’ve equipped the boots, you can activate their ability by pressing the LS/L3/C button. If you time your move right, it will help you glide along the surface. If you’re in shallow water, you should be able to move across without any problem. You can also use it to cross rivers, but the timing has to be impeccable.
