Roblox Hooked Skills Tier List – Best Skills

hooked skills tier list and guide

Looking for the best skills in Roblox Hooked!? In a game where the base movement speed is slow the best skills are the mobility ones for both dodging and repositioning for your own hooks. I ranked all skills in the game from S-Tier to C-Tier for an easy overview. Here’s my Roblox Hooked Skills tier list and guide.

Best Skills in Hooked Roblox

The best skills in Hooked are currently the mobility skills since it’s so powerful to be able to move faster in this game where base movement is slow. That said, there are also some strong offensive and supporting options for teamfights. In general, the most powerful options are in S and A-Tier with B-Tier being situonally strong skills and C-Tier being weaker options. There’s currently no useless skills since each skill can be good in some situation so no D-Tier abilities as of yet.

Base & Premium Skill Chances

Common 74.29% / 0%

Uncommon 20% / 20%

Rare 4.45% / 55.60%

Epic 1% / 20%

S-Tier Skills

S-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Bolt Dash & Base Dash
Rare & Common
• Dashing is the best ability in Hooked so far since everyone is so slow
• It’s useful for both dodging hooks but also dashing up to and hitting a low HP enemy to finish them off
• The Bolt Dash is IMO more powerful due to a lower cooldown even though it’s a bit shorter
• It makes up for the distance with flexibility since you can both use it more often and it’s faster

Black Hole
Epic
• Black Hole is the most powerful offensive skill in the game
• You can use it to pull people into gaps and holes
• Plus it deals damage to finish off low HP enemies or set up a hook and slash oneshot combo
• The area is massive too so it’s great for teamfights

Heal
Uncommon
• Heal is the most powerful team-wise defensive skill in the game
• It has so many uses from healing yourself to hooking and healing a teammate to providing healing to your entire team if they’re close
• That said as with any non-Dash defensive skill, you’ll have to learn to dodge hooks well

A-Tier Skills

A-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Big Bomb
Rare
• Such a powerful and impactful offensive ability that’s weaker than Black Hole since there’s more counterplay
• That said you can nuke two or three people sometimes with it so just make sure to learn movement well so you can get close

Multi-Hook
Rare
• Makes landing Hooks drastically easier
• Devastating in large teamfights
• In smaller fights it’s situational but still good

Swiftstep
Common
• Mobility is really strong in Hooked so even the weakest mobility skill is still pretty good
• Allows you both to dodge hooks, position for hooks and chase low HP enemies

B-Tier Skills

B-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Meteor
Rare
• Meteor has two uses that are pretty fun but more situational than other offensive abilities which is why it’s lower
• The first is that it can be a good finisher for a hook and slash combo to finish off a low HP enemies
• The second is that you can use it to push people into hazards like on the lava level
• Fun to use

Golden Stance
Uncommon
• Golden Stance can be situationally really strong
• You get self-sustain healing
• Plus you get to ignore attacks and some hazards like on the lava level
• That said experienced players will spot that you’re using this, wait briefly and hook slightly before it ends so that you get punished
• But if you’re facing noobs you can dominate with Golden Stance

C-Tier Skills

C-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Shadow Veil
Rare
• Shadow Veil is on the weaker side of abilities
• That said the invisibility can still be useful for escaping or setting up hooks that are easier to land

Wall
Common
• Wall is a bit more underwhelming than it’s supposed to be
• But you can still save yourself or other teammates from stay hooks
• The downside is that dashing works way better for yourself and there are better team-support abilities

Ink Bomb
Common
• Decent defensive utility but enemies can still hook your through it if they play smart
• There are stronger options

Characters in The Seven Deadly Sins Origin

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin is now out on PC and PS5, with a mobile launch coming soon, and you get to choose from a host of different characters.

The character has been adapted directly from the manga that also inspired an anime. Every character has its unique pros and cons, but some are better than the rest.

Disclaimer: Large parts of this tier list are based on the closed beta. It’s a good starting point, but I will update the tiers as I play and test more characters.

Complete The Seven Deadly Sins Origin character tier list

Characters in The Seven Deadly Sins Origin belong to different rarities, but not all rare names are better. Moreover, the kit you equip will also determine how the characters work and what roles they play. However, I have assessed the characters based on their best kit.

S-tier

S-tier characters are simply the strongest ones in the entire game. They will be the characters you should ideally reroll for, and they will work well with most weapons.

  • Meliodas: He is pretty much the best healing support you can find among all characters. You can either go for the Dual Sword or the single one. The fact that you can have one HP bar for the whole team allows you to heal all your allies.
  • Jericho: Jericho is pretty much the strongest DPS unit in the entire game. She can also inflict Freeze with her Special Attack when you’re using the Dual Sword kit. Her Frozen Saber ability allows you to teleport her behind the enemy to deal extra damage, and also increases the Burst Gauge. She’s also one of the best universal characters to get.
  • Diane: Diane, in some teams, can be slightly better than Jericho (but Jericho is far more universal). Diane is a different type of DPS as she can also create her own sustains. She can gain a shield from her passive, and she can also heal herself with burst damage. Her Axe kit also allows you to inflict stuns, which is great for crowd control.

A-tier

The A-tier characters are pretty strong in their own right, but slightly fall short compared to the S-tier choices.

  • King: With his Staff kit, King can attack as an amazing support. He clearly becomes S-tier if you’re using him with Diane (due to the Earth-based synergy). His ability to inflict Bloom on allies raises their damage potential. If you opt for the Book kit, King becomes a defensive support who provides barriers for other allies.
  • Elaine: Unlike King, Elaine is a pure defensive support who offers massive shields and damage reductions with her moves. She can also neutralize the enemy’s burst resistance. This allows your units to enter the burst states quicker, which is great for DPS characters like Jericho. However, she’s also a great partner with Diane due to their Earth affiliation.
  • Manny: If you’re running a burst-focused team, Manny becomes an S-tier pick. She inflicts Punishment on enemies. Those enemies will then take Critical Hit as Punishment is active, and it also inflicts additional Holy damage. She can also buff the Crit Damage of her allies and reduce the Element Defense of enemies.
  • Howzer: If you’re a free-to-play player, Howzer is a pretty good choice. He can inflict Bleed with his attacks, which raises the damage dealt to enemies (while nerfing the healing rate). You have to combine it with his special attack that helps Howzer gain Gust. He is a relatively simple character to master, but he might lose his relevance once we get more names in the future.

B-tier

B-tier choices are average at best, so I have briefly explained what they do and what you can expect of them. In simple words, try to replace them with better options listed above unless you’re a fan.

  • Guila: She can deal damage via Fire Burst when she is in her Demon Form. You’ll need to use her Demon Form carefully since it also allows her to reduce her skill cooldown by 50% by landing Critical Hits.
  • Drake: He does lightning damage to enemies, and he can also increase his Burst Duration with Lightning Burst. However, the lack of synergy for the Lightning element continues until the full launch.
  • Slader: While he can deal Fire/Physical damage to enemies, his overall potential is pretty limited. His base damage is pretty low, which makes him unideal as a DPS until you build him up.
  • Hendrickson: Hendrickson is useful as long as you have Meliodas in your team, as he can improve Meli’s damage potential. If you don’t have Meliodas, Hendrickson is a C-tier.
  • Tristan: He is an okay character, as everyone gets him for free. His kit is pretty basic, but it can deal a decent amount of Fire Damage. Outside that, there’s not much to write home about him.

C-tier

These are extremely weak characters, and you should look to replace them as soon as possible.

  • Bug
  • Dreydrin
  • Dreyfus
  • Gilthunder
  • Griamore
  • Tioreh
